Feng Shui House – Energize Your Air With Indoor Plants

A vital aspect to remember when it comes to Feng Shui House is the necessity for having indoor air that is clean. If you are going to find and maintain great Chi, it’s important that you improve your home’s air quality. The reason you should do this is due to the fact that air on the inside is often times more harmful than the great outdoors.

Indoor pollution can be a huge problem when you’re learning how to Feng Shui your house at home or work. All the consulting in the world, putting to use the Feng Shui compass and Feng Shui Ba Gua will not do you any good unless all aspects that you can control are at the maximum beneficial level for you,  and that means cleaner air indoors. The lucky thing is that there are quite a few indoor plants that can help to purify your home’s air providing better Chi.

Before you start trying to find a list of plants to help, you should understand why they are so necessary. You see, your home consists of many harmful indoor pollutants that are called volatile organic chemicals, or VOCs. If you have carpeting, plastic products, products made from synthetic materials and even some kinds of plywood in the home, they break down slowly releasing the volatile organic chemicals. Certain air purifying plants work wonders in clearing the air.

Here’s a look at some of the best plants that purify air that will be beneficial to your Feng Shui House:

1. Boston Fern – This beautiful plant is is excellent at getting rid of pollutants like formaldehyde in your home. These plants are popular and will make your home beautiful; however, they will take a lot of care to live well.
2. Rubber Plant – This is another great house plant that is great at removing many pollutants including formaldehyde. The rubber plant is quite hardy and can stand up against low light and temperatures on the cool side.
3. Peace Lily – Popular during Easter, so you should go ahead and buy a few of these lovely plants that remove quite a bit of toxins from your indoor environment.
4. English Ivy – English Ivy is great for removing formaldehyde from the air. This plant cleans the air and is simple to grow.

These plants work well for keeping the air clean. However, it’s not a great idea for good Feng Shui to use them in the room you sleep in. A lot of energy flows through these plants, and you don’t want a lot of energy when trying to sleep. Use them throughout the home for great Feng Shui house and clean air, but avoid using them in the bedroom.
